„Master of Disaster Management and Risk Governance" (120 ECTS)
Admission requirements
- University degree with at least 180 ECTS
- At least 3 years of professional experience and knowledge in the field of disaster management and risk governance
Concept of teaching and learning
„blended learning" - a combination of lectures during weekends and following study periods at home
Educational form
Further education for professionals, part time / blended learning
Length of study
5 - 6 semesters (30 - 36 months, including internship, writing of master's thesis and thesis assessment)
Modules
The master's programme KaVoMa comprises twelve modules that build on on each other. Exceptions are module 11 (master's thesis) and module 12 (practice modul), which can be completed at any time.

Practice modul
The „practice module" allows for accounting experience such as internships or qualified volunteering work in the field of disaster risk management with ECTS. The length of study will be reduced accordingly (up to 9 monthts).

- in addition expenses for travelling to the BABZ, food and accomodation as well as 115 euros per semester payable to the student union
